I had someone from France want some JG eggs, but I told them it would be very difficult and it might take to long to get there to even hatch, if I was able to at all.............. is it even possible?

I am not sure about the legalities of shipping eggs to another country, but chances are the long arduoius trip will probably cause some serious hatching issues. If there wern't alot of $$$ involved and your hopes were not up, I would try but be prepared for marginal results at best.

As Steve said, you need various health certificates to legally post eggs abroad. You can't just post the eggs....well you can, but you might get in trouble.
I'm not sure why they'd want to go to the trouble of getting Jersey Giants from US in particular. There are exhibition quality Jersey Giants in EU which they could purchase far more easily without the expense of all the paperwork.

Another thing to bear in mind is that there's a fairly common scam out there, where someone from Far Away expresses interest in something you have to sell (and for some reason I don't understand, pets and livestock are frequently targeted), and at some point in the process they wire you money and it turns out to be an overpayment and they say oh well keep half the difference and either wire me the other half back, or send me your bank info so I can get the other half back myself. After which, not surprisingly, it turns out their "wire" was a counterfeit and they've taken some or all of your hard-earned money.

Not saying that's what this IS, but, be aware.

Good luck, have fun,

Pat
