Can you spot a Roo or two?? Or more?

Tell them you will give bad reviews on BYC and BBB if they don't call you back!

I have emailed them and called them. No one returns my calls. I will take pics again at four months and post em. Some of the "maybe" roos are looking more like pullets so we will see. I will throw a huge fit at that time if i have bunch of roosters!! But i guess its better to wait for sure so i dont look like an *** when i end up with two roos instead of the maybe 6 or 7 lol.
 
I will be taking new pics when they are 12 weeks. Boy they sure have grown up!! But so far just one roo and a possible second? Unless they are way behind Noband. (Big chicken rooster man lol) I will let ya help decide in a few weeks.
 
Well. Ended up with seven roos. And one more that still might be. Elbee. Cackle finally called me after I posted bad reviews all over the internet and convince our feed store to stop buying from them. They were sorry that I was not called back. "A note to call me was on the desk" and refunded me about 8 bucks. I had to give away 6 of the roos as they had already started fighting pretty bad. No one would buy them even for a buck lol. I paid pullet prices and was refunded the difference. SO pretty much I was forced to buy roosters. OH and here is a new breed lol!!! Manager called them "Production Heritage RIR's" I love my birds though. I am getting some birds in feb from Dick. He has some nice ones. Expensive lesson but well...what can ya do? Im very unimpressed with the way the hatchery dealt with this.

How annoying! I am glad you will be getting some girls from someone else. What age will you be buying the girls at?

Day olds. Im getting 20 straight run so Im sure I will have a few nice roos as well. The rooster I have here will go up to my dads when the New ones are old enough. I don't mind the chance of a Heritage mixing with one of the pullets I have but no way in hell do I want the roo I have to mix in with the new ones lol. The pullets I have from Cackle will keep me in good eggs and keep my customers happy. And with the help from this site and many great breeders of the Heritage to ask questions of I am looking forward to continuing the Heritage RIR in the standard it was intended.
 
"Production Heritage RIR's" Like that, covers pretty much everything possible doesn't it. Sure doesn't sound like they handled it very well, even if they aren't going to deviate from their refund policy, they can at least be polite and respond. Good luck with your new chicks, may there be lots of girls.

Yeah. I even told the Lady over the phone! My biggest problem is that no one called me back. Heck I was prepared to order another pullet order. But oh well. Bad customer service
 
I contacted the Hatchery last week through email. I told them I would like to try and order from then again and asked if they would consider paying the shipping as a "good faith" gesture. I have the money waiting but have not heard back from them yet. I sent another email today. I told them if they could cover the shipping I would make sure to note the gesture in any and all of the bad reviews I had posted. Guess we will see.
