It has a bigger pip then it did last night at 1am. So I'm hopeful it will work it's way out soon...if I go by when the others hatched after pipping that was about 12 hours. So if that is the case it should be hatching here in a few hours. Here are some pics of the babies! They sure are CUTE!
Here is the first four...I think I have a black one there...but IS that an orp? And then I have an almost ALL yellow one and two blue/yellow ones on this pic. Let me show you the more silvery colored one now.
Here is the last one to hatch so far: This is the silvery colored one it's got a ball tuff on it's tail too:
Here are some more pics of the five of them together...I will get the last one after it hatches
So any clues to what I may have after you see them a bit dried??????
Those are not any pure blue/black or splash Orps colors that I have ever seen...... the pic of her roo his leg coloring plus his comb, I've never seen that combo either....
im kinda partial to the little one with the under eye liner look...PLEASE be a PULLET!!! oh and ahhh please make sure it isnt one of hangins favorites....lol i had to try
I did look at the website after what Tuff said and that looks like a Blue Wyandotte from the distance the pic was taken. Can't see the leg color, but the comb looks like a rose comb..either that or he's lost all the tips on the comb. I have no idea what chicks you have. Not Orpington colors. Even mottled Orps dont look like that as babies usually. I'd certainly ask the seller what other birds she has whose eggs might have gotten put in your pkg by mistake. Mistakes happen sometimes. They're real cuties, whatever they are.
