can you travel with 4 week old chicks?

Don't take the chicks! Traveling can be very stressful for chicks and they should be at home where they have their warm brooder, feed and water. There is absolutely no reason to take the chicks for a 5 hour trip. They will be just fine at home.

are you serious? You don’t have to take the chicks with you on practically vacation, keep them at home I am begging you. This is not going to be fun for them to be stressed out the whole time. Your aunt can see pictures.

If they aren't being moved due to sale or literally moving, there's no reason to move them. While travel is fun for humans, for most animals it is only stressdul. They don't see it as a fin trip to see family, they just know suddenly they're in a box again, the floor is moving, there's new sounds and theres almost no way to keep them warm enough if they aren't fully feathered already

Take some photos and video and share that with the relatives. The chicks will be happier and healthier at home in their familiar surroundings. Make sure you have a trusted friend or neighbor that can check in on them for you, as chicks are notorious for doing things like knocking over water, throwing feed all over, etc.

Look, no worries here. We all have unplanned things occur. I would try to set up a good space for them at home with extra areas for food and water and have someone come check on them twice a day.
