Do you have two bators going?? How can you have some due today and some that have just started going into lockdown??

I actually have six bators 2 Red wood Cabinets, 3 styro bators and a Janoel 48. I do all my hatching in the styro bators so yes I can have lock down in three different stages or even 4 if I decide to use the Janoel 48.

Hatched at 5:45pm!!!!
Just wondering if I should help it onto its belly? Chirping and flopping, then sleeps for a bit, repeat.
Leave it be or help it flip over?

You could say that I have quail muscovy and chickens going currently and scheduled to set 20 dozen BYM next friday for a local farmer I have a 1250 capacity in just the redwood cabinet incubators. Also have a possible order coming in for 60 olive eggers and then also some others on top of that. Going to keep those bators going.

Yes. Yes, I'm addicted to chickens. And on a whole new level now too. It is def an illness

My fault meaning many things. Candled too much for one. Didn't let the shipped eggs rest long enough before putting them in the incubator I don't think. Was too overbearing with adjusting temps. My first set of hatching eggs has not gone well.

My second set is already far better than my first. Lockdown for those is next week.

I'm learning from this and moving on.

Came home to 9 eggs pipped and there is quite a bit of peeping going on hope everyone can reach to zip one I am worried about its beak seems to be pretty farm from the shell it is moving and peeping a lot like I said just not sure it can reach the shell. have about 15 more eggs in the say bator that are all looking good.
