candled day 10, cracked open 2, did I jump the gun?

I have been candling every few days, and have monitored development and 10 eggs seem to be consistent and look the same, veins at day 5 and now look like a dark mass(air cells clear), these 2 eggs I could see through with the light. when I cracked them open to check them out, It looked as if the yolks were broken,but they did have a blood in some veins. One of them smelled pretty unpleasant. Did I give up on them to early, were they still alive since they had veins even if they were behind the others in development? thanks for looking.

If the yolks were broken, I don't think it was bad to take em out, specially if one was smelly.
