Candled !!!!!

This is really a fantastic idea...my parents have one that we used and used when I was young. It was our family entertainment, and I learned a lot about my parents' early life together by slides!

Anyway, I hope all goes well with your hatch. It does pay to wait. My hen got off her eggs for way too long on day 15, and I was so sad...they were completely cold.

But, I left her for a week to let mother nature take it's course, fully expecting to have minimal survival. When I candled on day 20, all were alive. I like to believe that any form of life wants to succeed, despite all my worrying.

I'd love to see pics of your dark eggs.

Good luck with your hatch. Someone is gonna be sitting on top of the bator for the next few days...I can tell!!!
