Shell was uniform in color as many of our eggs are. There are on occasion some that are speckled on the outside but, not many. Our egg colors range from light cream to medium to dark brown. When candling about 20 eggs that night some looked like this, others had little to no mottling. One site mentioned high humidity or that the eggs were not drying fast enough. It is possible, as all of our hens like to lay in our goat house and seem to wait in line to deposit their eggs.
