Thank you for your pictures! Unfortunately my two eggs that my Silkie is sitting on look like the third picture with no development. I don't think they were fertile.
Nice pictures! I haven't been able to get good photos of my egg candling. A flashlight works well enough to see what I need to see, but not well enough for the camera to see it too. Oh well. I like the projector idea!
Thanks for this. I can see clearly with these. I will have to learn to candle... been trying with the pre rooster eggs just to figure it out. Now that I have a rooster (though I think he is low on social right now)...... If and when they let him I will know what to watch for. Other than first day I got him I haven't seen him attempt again. But he does find and tell them on food and warns even if a crow flys over.
Now I just have to wait for him to let them near the boxes.... used to get 2 eggs from the two girls and have only gotten 1 in the three days I have had him. We shall see by spring or he gets replaced.
