Well I'd say if you've been treating them for months with fish zole stuff they should be well already, not nearly dead.

Bacterial infection would need antibiotics, which you probably can't get very easily in Canada. No treating cancer.

You say you've been using this fish stuff, but you never said how much you were giving, or how you were giving it.

Oh dear. But why would the cancer appear in the mouth like canker?


I actually don't know how much because my mom is doing it. She did read over your posts on how much to give the chicken and she followed it. I can ask her when I get home. The only thing I know is that she's putting it in the water. I haven't stopped putting ACV in the main flocks water too.

You could try the fish stuff again, but you need to let me know exactly what it is so I can tell you how much to give *orally*. Metronidazole doesn't taste good, so if you've been putting it in water they haven't been getting enough of it.

For you hen that's near death, it might be too late for her, but if you want to try to save her I can help you come up with a plan which will include tube feeding.

Oh and if my chickens did have a bacteria issue, wouldn't the ACV tone it down a bit?

How do you know how much to give? If she weighs 2 kg she can have 100 mg twice a day, but I'm guessing that you have no way of knowing how much 100 mg is, right?

ACV is about as good as DE.
Neither one are "cure alls."

Not likely... Any bacteria that can produce that amount of pus will need antibiotics.
