canning/pickeling help please

    I cant get the lits to seal on my mason jars........

    I boiled eggs and got my vinager and seasonings boiling while I peeled the eggs,then used med. low heat and water to warmt the lids,then put eggs and pickeling solution in jars then tightened down the lids and will/did not seal.

    what did I miss or should I try?

    Couple of suggestions....................

    1. Bake the jars and get them really hot before you put the food items in.

    2. Go to any ranch and home store that sells canning supplies and get the "Ball Blue Book of Canning".......... It is the canning bible.
