hoping you were going to say something that meant she could just be really good at hiding them!

Could you take the remaining eggs and keep them warm enough until they hatch?

Could the peeping you're hearing be coming from inside the eggs? not that that would explain what happened to the other eggs and any ducklings that may have hatched from them.

So i searched the whole coop. There's nothing. I tore up all the straw, everything. The remaining eggs were rotten, so i disposed of them. They're gone.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Have there been any predators around or a lack of other eggs? I’m curious as to what happened.

Also interested in your set up - could they have wandered off and got through a mesh wall and then couldn't find their way back in?
