I only want five chicks. Crackle and McMurray have a minimum of 15-25. My TSC only has RIRs for many months. Does anyone know where I can get chicks?

Try feed stores in your area. They very often have chicks and most don't have a minimum purchase requirement.
You could also check out My Pet Chicken. They will ship small orders of as few as 3 chicks, depending on your proximity to a major postal hub.

Lol well I didn't say that it would necessarily be cheap lol. But I also didn't see that you were located in Texas. Are there any specific breeds that you are looking for? Because if there are than I would recommend contacting a breeder either local or somewhere in the US and hatching out your own eggs. It cost me 50.00 for 19 hatching eggs and that included shipping.

Try the social "who am I"/Texas link. Make some friends...Many folk breed and will have a few extras. Also check out the re-homing area (mostly roos though). Hope this helps...Good Luck!

I think you need to look at Cackle's site again, they allow for as small as 3 per order, here is the link to the page:
