It really is EGGciting to have a new addition to our site!!!

As promised, here are some pictures of the babies I currently have and the different areas I keep my chickens. I still have more babies and hatching eggs on the way. My upcoming major project will be building my breeder pens and runs in my barn. My husband is understanding that I prefer to keep chicks close by for at least two weeks after they’ve been born. He starts getting restless after that.

In some of the pictures, the babies have been testing their roosting skills and they wind up visiting their neighbors. Lol

What a remarkable setup! So many brooder to care and so many chicks to be entranced by. Very nice! How many chickens is your goal?

Forgive my fascination. I have 14 chickens and six bobwhites. So any large number of poultry is so interesting to me.

Thank you for the compliments on my current setup. I know my response to the chickens goal is not healthy but I honestly haven’t thought about a number to stop at. Previously I’ve always told myself that I don’t need to buy anymore chickens but I always do. It’s an addiction. A real addiction!
