Cant get the temp right

Take the readings you are getting and average them. What is your temp average?

Well I was trying to keep mine around 99 but I they would be a degree or more off. Do you think having my temp to low is worse than to high? I thought it should 99.5

Are you measuring the 99 with the probe or the air temp at egg height?

Well I just got the one w/ the probe the others I used in the past I just set them in empty egg cups.

I heard having a lower temp is better then having a higher temp

Still air is 101-102.

What is the gel filled kids toy that is used to put the probe into to simulate the temp inside an egg and should the temp be 101 or 102 inside it?
