Lol, I'd enjoy seeing both of those scenarios. Is the rooster watching the guest to make sure they're not a threat, or is he just nosy?

Definitely both! I interpret the crow at the window to mean "and stay out!". His staring I think is just interest in what the inside people (and cats/dogs) are eating.

@Shadrach ’s chooks don’t ‘sneak’, they have an open invitation. @BY Bob on the other hand... a couple of his girls quietly let themselves into his house and we’re discovered in the lounge room!

One of my hens made a nest in my car, another one in a box of junk in my garage . My chickens constantly try to sneak in the house. They like the cats' food. My rooster reminds of that scene from Jurassic Park with the velociraptor opening the door...
