Can't raise humidity! And in lock down :/

Most of my hatches, under broody hens and in incubators, spread over 2, sometimes 3 days. I.e. they'll start on day 21 and continue hatching on day 22. I don't give up on an egg until day 25 and I've actually had a chick hatch on day 25 once! The green stuff you're referring to may be egg gunk. It's normal and nothing to worry about.
