@Criticalicious
When I first started looking into the local regulations I was crushed - the Town only allows chickens on lots larger than one acre. Luckily a friend of mine told me to keep digging and after a few phone calls I was SO pleasantly surprised - I live in the CITY not the TOWN (apparently, there's a difference lol) and so the only restrictions are no roosters (noise violation), coops must be 3ft from the property line, and any structure larger than a dog house needs a building permit. That's it, no max chicken limit. Obviously chickens need proper space to flourish so I'm still only planning on 4-6 tops. We are also going to post a little letter to our neighbors before we build anything just to be sure that they are all okay with us keeping the girls
As for the gardening, I'm not known for my, uh, green thumb lol but here's hoping!!!
