@Criticalicious

When I first started looking into the local regulations I was crushed - the Town only allows chickens on lots larger than one acre. Luckily a friend of mine told me to keep digging and after a few phone calls I was SO pleasantly surprised - I live in the CITY not the TOWN (apparently, there's a difference lol) and so the only restrictions are no roosters (noise violation), coops must be 3ft from the property line, and any structure larger than a dog house needs a building permit. That's it, no max chicken limit. Obviously chickens need proper space to flourish so I'm still only planning on 4-6 tops. We are also going to post a little letter to our neighbors before we build anything just to be sure that they are all okay with us keeping the girls :D
As for the gardening, I'm not known for my, uh, green thumb lol but here's hoping!!!
