Can't Watch Your Friends' Kids For Free In Michigan

I saw that and was also surprised that it was prompted by a neighbors complaint. So does the neighbor that complained just want these kids sitting out waiting for the bus unsupervised? That is just asking for trouble.

And the neighbor who made the complaint is now sitting on pens and needles not realizing by doing so, they created a story worth the national media picking up, and sooner or later ~ they will be outed.

I just saw the woman involved on Fox News. She said that the DHS agent told her that even if you have your friend's kids over for a play date you might get in trouble if the parent isn't there in the house.

Um....my house is the one where all the kids come to play. I hope that they get this straightened out.

She also asked the agent if she could just open her garage on rainy days for the kids. THe agent said no and advised her to tell the parents to get their children umbrellas.
