Only five Guineas were waiting for me when I went outside (I was running a bit late today). These five are not all that comfortable with me and my dog yet so they were a bit hesitant to come up close...

Today the Guineas got chased off by none other than a tiny (compared to them) Masked Weaver bird...

Look how the Guinea in the middle has opened its mouth and gets agitated.

Dive bomb! The Guineas are like "We've had enough of this - let's go."

"That's right Guineas. My space!"

Oh yes... just want to add that there were seven Guineas that the Masked Weaver chased off.
But in fairness to the Guineas, that Weaver is one feisty little bird. I have seen it clear off all the birds from the hanging bird-feeder, including two Rock Pigeons.

...and then a two way cross-over airshow.

(Unfortunately, converting the video into a gif removes some of the flapping which gives the visual effect that the Guineas just open their wings and glide; which is not the case. There was much flapping involved in the execution of this air display.)

The Guineas were showing off their talents this morning.

Thank you for the info, but I am rather old school (I grew up in the pre-social-media age; almost pre-computer age; definitely pre-mobile-phone age; and most certainly pre-digital-camara age - I am nostalgic about developing my own film and photos) and therefore I do not have accounts on many websites. I will consider uploading videos onto YouTube if I really need to. But having stated all this, I am enjoying playing around with my digital media on my new mobile phone that was gifted to me a few weeks ago. These things are so clever, but scary at the same time. AI is very scary!
