"On low they last nearly 12 hours." Raven answered and put her bow and arrow away, pulling out her sword instead. Her bow would be useless in the shorter tunnels.

Algar shifted his gaze to follow Luna's eyes to Tianea and saw the mutual hostility there. Suddenly, some the mystery around Luna's betrayal made more sense as he realized there must have been some kind of falling out between the two. Algar gestured to the others and they fell back, but only slightly, ready to pounce should the need arise. Tianea had always been a thorn in his side and if Luna killed her... well, that was one less problem for him to deal with. -- Col kept quiet, hopeful that by playing nice for a while, they'd keep the gag off and maybe even let their guard down at some point. He led them back to the last split in the cave tunnel and pointed them down the way the rescuers had yet to explore. This tunnel seemed to be used mostly as storage, for crates, trunks, and barrels lined the tunnel. It opened soon into small cavern with multiple offshoots. The tunnels beyond where un-lit. Col gestured to the leftmost tunnel and Terrick approached it, forcing Col along with him. He squinted into the darkness ahead and could see the cave roof was much lower here, about 5 feet from the floor. "How long do these things last again, Raven?" Terrick asked, looking back to the elf as he pulled his light-stone out of his pocket with the hand not holding up Col. He gave it a single tap to light it again.
Tianea nodded her thanks to Algar before turning back to Luna. "Let lay some ground ru-" She was cut off by Luna. "Rules? You dont follow the rules!" Lina said sounding rather amused and even lauging when Tianea glared at her.

As they entered the tunnel used for storage, Pike recognized a couple of items as things that had been stolen from the caravan the day before. He cast a scathing glare at Col as they went past, but kept his mouth shut. He knew he wouldn't have to explain himself. Having nearly forgotten about his own light stone, Pike pulled it out of his pocket flipped it over several times in his hand. "These will come in handy, they aren't as bulky as torches if the tunnel gets really small." Personally, he wasn't looking forward to crawling through on his hands and knees if it came to that. He was fairly round compared to the others, and would be the first to get stuck if it was too small.

(May i join?) Dani walked carefully through the woods

(Sure!)

As Dani walked through the moonlit woods, something moved suddenly in the brush nearby.

Merek had woken only a short while ago to find himself lying on the damp forest floor, bound and gagged. And he had the worst headache he'd ever felt in his life. "Mmmmrppphhh mmmmmmm" he tried to call through the gag, unable to see who was walking on the other side of the brush but hoped it was a friend.

"Ladies first?" Terrick turned and gave Raven a small smile . Not that he expected her to lead the way, but was trying to lighten the somber mood a little, though even to his ears, the joke felt out of place.

Raven smiled "Really?" She asked playfully, then turned to Col "Straight through?" She asked the bandit.

Col nodded. It was true, the easiest path through was always the tunnel straight ahead. But he didn't feel the need to volunteer the information that there were a few offshoots from the main tunnel that could potentially be questionable.

"Yeah, stay straight," he looked right at Raven, trying to appeal to her since it seemed he'd get no sympathy from either Pike or Terrick. "There's a few tight places. I won't be able to work my way through with my hands tied behind my back. Can you at least tie them in front instead?"

Raven looked to Terrick and Pike then turned to the tunnel. "Terrick that's your call."

"When it gets too tough for you, Buttercup, then I'll think about it. Let's go. You first." Terrick gave Col a light shove toward the passageway. The bandit glared at him, but ducked his head and started into the tunnel. Terrick lifted the light stone, which cast at least enough light for Col to at least see where he was stepping.

The tunnel curved slightly to the left, so it was not long before they left the light of the torches behind.
