Seeing that Luna had no desire to be reasonable, preferring to fight against those she had once fought side by side with, Algar felt his anger rise. And just think, he used to consider her almost like a sister or even a daughter. "She is not to leave!" he roared, voice echoing through the tunnel back to the party of intruders in the common area. Algar stepped forward as the remaining bandits tried to circle the girl, giving her no room to maneuver without leaving her back exposed somewhere. "Perhaps you'll join our other guests..." he said, lunging forward, trying to crack the butt of his blade against her shoulder, hoping to send the girl to her knees.
Luna dodged the blade twisting so it hit her arm instead. She delivered a blow of her own this time using the blade."I have only one score to settle" Luna said.

Tianea heard Algar and came running from her room. She froze when she saw Luna. "Look what the cat dragged in." Luna sneered at Tianea watching her flinch as Luna hinted at her shape-shifting ability.

Col muttered something barely audible. Terrick gave the bandit a small shake. "Speak up!" he commanded, trusting the commotion from the tunnel ahead to conceal any noise.

"This way's easiest," Col repeated, looking toward the tunnel in front of them. Not to mention there were people there who could help him out of his current situation. But Pike's knife made him keep that thought to himself.

"It's just down there and then to the right," he said. Maybe with any luck, they'd just leave him here while they pushed their way through ahead. But the expectant and impatient looks from Terrick and Pike made him continue "There's a longer way 'round. No sure if you'll find it any easier though. We don't use it much cause it ain't tall 'nough to stand up most of the way."

Raven couldn't stop a shiver at that announcement. She didn't like the tunnels as it was, to be forced to not be able to stand also. She shook the thought away, not willing to say anything, yet.

Pike cracked his knuckles in frustration and looked to Terrick for help. He knew that as soon as the other bandits found them they would all become prisoners. Fighting another hord wasn't an option, they had already been beaten on multiple occasions. But on the other hand he wasn't convinced that Col would be able to crawl through a tunnel in his condition. If they chose that route they may well be on their own from this point on.

After voicing these concerns to Terrick, he asked what the experienced guard thought.

Algar deftly avoided Luna's blade and took a few steps backwards, almost colliding with Tianea as she came running. "Let's let her settle it from the comfort of the Pit," Algar spat as the bandits started tightening the circle around her.

Terrick felt like he could throttle the bandit right then and there, but took a few deep breaths, reminding himself that doing something stupid right now would jeopardize everyone's chances of getting out of here alive.

"I don't see anything for it but to take the long route. Kid," he said, addressing Col and retrieving his waterskin from his belt. "Drink this," he ordered, holding the skin up to Col lips. For a moment, Col considered spitting it back his face, but he wasn't stupid, so swallowed a few mouthfuls.

"Which way?" Terrick asked.

"Back to the last split. Gotta go right there," Col said.

Raven glanced back at the men, then to the tunnel. She would wait for them to get going before following, to make sure the bandits didn't see them.

"I only have ine thing to settle." Luna spat."And i wont relent until i have her head!" Luna charged through the ring of bandits swinging herblade and dodging some blows while others landed. "Call off your pack of mutts!" She said to Tianea. "Call off the team. This is between her and i." Tianea called to Algar.

Without giving himself enough time to think about what they were going up against, Pike turned around and took the lead position in front of Terrick and Col. Once he was turned away from the others he brushed his hand up against his stomach to see how badly the puncture wound was bleeding. It was hard to tell how much of the blood splattered on his shirt was his, but he had a sinking feeling that the blood spot was indeed getting larger. "Let's go then..." He said reluctantly. "Before whoever is in that tunnel catches up with us."

Raven glanced back at them, then started to follow, guarding them in case the bandits came out before they got out of the common room.

Algar shifted his gaze to follow Luna's eyes to Tianea and saw the mutual hostility there. Suddenly, some the mystery around Luna's betrayal made more sense as he realized there must have been some kind of falling out between the two.

Algar gestured to the others and they fell back, but only slightly, ready to pounce should the need arise. Tianea had always been a thorn in his side and if Luna killed her... well, that was one less problem for him to deal with.

Col kept quiet, hopeful that by playing nice for a while, they'd keep the gag off and maybe even let their guard down at some point. He led them back to the last split in the cave tunnel and pointed them down the way the rescuers had yet to explore. This tunnel seemed to be used mostly as storage, for crates, trunks, and barrels lined the tunnel. It opened soon into small cavern with multiple offshoots. The tunnels beyond where un-lit. Col gestured to the leftmost tunnel and Terrick approached it, forcing Col along with him. He squinted into the darkness ahead and could see the cave roof was much lower here, about 5 feet from the floor.

"How long do these things last again, Raven?" Terrick asked, looking back to the elf as he pulled his light-stone out of his pocket with the hand not holding up Col. He gave it a single tap to light it again.
