Raven glanced around the common area before moving inside. she looked back to Col, Pike and Terrick for new directions, listening to the fight. She looked ahead again when she heard the bandit call Luna by name and ask her what she wanted. Leaving the men she made her way to the tunnel the battle sounds were coming from, wanting to hear what Luna would answer.

"Raven!" Pike hissed under his breath in an effort to make as little noise as possible. "We need to find Linden and Mavis, Luna can handle herself. She isn't our problem anymore."

He nudged Col expectantly, waiting for new directions. They were deep in the tunnel system now, and he wasn't sure if he'd be able to find their way back out if things went sour.

Raven looked back to Pike and nodded, acknowledging him. She looked to Col waiting for him to direct them to the next tunnel, but stayed where she was, listening.

Pike felt relieved when Raven stopped. He didn't entirely trust Col and if the bandit decided to get them lost then Raven was their last and only chance at getting out.

Col was finding each step increasingly difficult, despite the knife Pike held close to his neck for extra motivation. His eyelids grew heavy and he felt cold even as the warm blood ran freely down his arm. As Pike nudged him, he hesitated, trying to determine which option was more likely to lead to him surviving the night. Finally, he took a step in the direction Raven had been intending to go, toward the sounds of the skirmish.

Raven watched the bandit, then sighed and put her arrow in her quiver Anne her bow over her shoulder as she walked over to Col and tied a cloth over his wound. "Try not to faint on us." She warned softly as she got her bow and arrow ready again.

As Col become weaker, the percentage of the bandits weight that Pike was supporting began increasing quickly. He readjusted his position to make it a little bit easier, but knew that if they didn't find Linden and Mavis soon he wouldn't be able to carry Col forever... especially with his stomach wounded as it was.

When Col began pulling him towards the towards the tunnel which contained the fighting sounds he hesitated. "Are you sure there isn't another way?" Walking in on a fight which had already broken out was not in his plans for the evening.

Col glared at Pike when he asked the question. Did he seriously expect an answer to his question? "hmmooorrrrrway," he mumbled through the gag.

Noticing that Pike seemed to be struggling some under the burden, Terrick offered, "Want me to babysit the flea-bitten ruffian for a bit?"

Luna merely smiled as she used the bottom of her sword to clobber another bandit.

(Won't be replying for a few days)

Seeing that Luna had no desire to be reasonable, preferring to fight against those she had once fought side by side with, Algar felt his anger rise. And just think, he used to consider her almost like a sister or even a daughter. "She is not to leave!" he roared, voice echoing through the tunnel back to the party of intruders in the common area. Algar stepped forward as the remaining bandits tried to circle the girl, giving her no room to maneuver without leaving her back exposed somewhere. "Perhaps you'll join our other guests..." he said, lunging forward, trying to crack the butt of his blade against her shoulder, hoping to send the girl to her knees.

His yell caught Raven's attention and she returned to the mouth of the tunnel, stopping there again and listening.

(LOL... sorry, completely forgot... laughing now :) )

"Yeah... that'd be great." Pike released his death grip on Col and flexed his sore shoulders. Part of him felt a little bit ashamed to admit that he was struggling, but he realized that Terrick was better suited now to help Col along at this point.

While they were transferring jobs, Pike confronted the bandit again after hearing the shouting from the tunnel they were about to enter. He pulled the gag down far enough that Col could speak, but kept the knife close to serve as a warning. "There must be another way around! All we want is to get our men, and get out. Believe me, that is your best chance of survival at this point."
