Caravan - Open Fantasy RP - Jump right in!

Merek jumped back as Raven swung down out of the tree and, using the elven bow as if it were a staff, swung the weapon toward the side of her head, trying to land a solid blow before she could draw a melee weapon.

As he did so, he heard someone rushing toward them and had to lunge to the side to avoid Bree's blade.

As soon as Algar made it across the water, he paused, eyes searching for where his quarry had gone. "THINK YOU CAN HIDE?" he yelled. His mouth curled into a sneer as, even in the low light of the moon, he could see the tamped down grass trail leading toward a building not far away.

Despite knowing that it wouldn't be incredibly hard to find the building in which they were in, Linden avoided making any kind of noise that would draw additional attention to their location. Fighting a sinking feeling of dread and desperation, he tried not to let fear show through his composure. He knew that Mavis and Maple were watching him and he didn't want to alarm them further.

With the fire iron he waited silently in the center of the room, not knowing if Algar would decide to bust down the door or a window. "Come and get us, you filthy rat..." He muttered under his breath.

(I would have just not joined if i knew it was almost at an end, but i'm in it now, so i might as well learn what i can and help f finish it :/)

(Yep, and then you can join from the beginning when we start the next one! That way it'll be much less confusing to join in.)

(Bree: This one probably will wrap up soon, but still glad to have you. Who knows, maybe we can spin off another story with these characters on some future adventure? :) I'll wait until Star has a chance to respond before replying as Merek...)

The trail led Algar straight to the door of Raven's house and he wasted no time trying to shove it in, only to find it solidly blocked. "COWARDS!" he yelled, face contorting with anger and he strode around to the side of the building, using his axe to smash first window he found.

Linden ducked and shielded his eyes from the shards of glass which came spraying into the room. Stealing a quick glance towards Mavis and Maple, he cautioned with his hand to make sure that they stayed hidden. The last thing he needed was a nearly blind girl, and an exhausted Mavis trying to fight Algar. It was only asking for someone else to get killed.

Holding up the fire iron, Linden braced himself to face the bandit leader as he forced his way into the house. His clothes were sticky with blood, a mixture of his own and Pike's, and he was limping from the wound to his backside. Fighting exhaustion, blood loss, a concussion, and the various wounds covering his body... among others. How on earth could he stand up for a second against the freshly rested bandit? God help us...

Raven let her momentum take her to her knee to avoid the blow from her bow. She glanced to the girl who had come out of the forest, but she seemed to be on the same side. Raven looked back to Meric and drew her dagger, taking up a fighting stance.
