Merek sank his head back down, fighting off a wave of dizziness.

(OOC: The spelunking expedition would probably have taken a lot longer than the fight between Luna and Tianea, so I'm going to try leave this slightly vague so that fight can play out as it will... ChickenRadio, don't wait for me to reply to finish it up. The bandits are pretty much just going to watch it play out.)

Terrick looked relieved at the news Raven remembered Luna's map well enough to know the location of the waterfall exit. "There's one more matter first. There's a girl locked up over there" he pointed in the direction of the cell where Maple was being kept, "and I cannot abandon her to her fate. Linden, did you see anything around we could use as leverage to pull the door off the hinges?"

Meanwhile Col had made his way back to the others and gathered the remaining bandits...

Raven looked to Terrick, then the way he pointed. "Let's get her and get out." She Said and headed to the bars.

Linden paused for a moment. "Actually yes, give me a second." As gently as he could he sat Mavis down on the floor so that he was leaning up against the wall, then hurried back into the tunnel the way he had come. The fire in the cavern was nearly extinguished, causing long shadows to creep across the floor and leave much of the area in the dark. With a combination of sight and memory he found the cot that Mavis had been sleeping on. The rickety contraption wasn't all that strong, but it was made of metal tubes that were crudely lashed together. If he could just get it apart, he thought that he might be able to use one of the metal tubes as leverage.

Lacking any kind of knife, which the bandits had stripped him of, Linden picked up the cot and threw it against the wall to break it apart. It took several attempts before anything of use to him came apart, but eventually he managed to get one of the main supporting tubes lose from the rest of the cot. As he made a dash back towards the tunnel with the tube he could hear the bandits footsteps echoing through the second tunnel as they rushed towards the cavern. He knew the noise of him breaking the cot would only make them come quicker, so he pulled the rest of the mangled bed into the entrance to the tunnel to slow them down.
