Carbaryl and chicks

At what age is it safe to use carbaryl around chicks. One of my coops has an infestation. I've cleaned it up, but want to treat all of my coops just in case.
My youngest in that coop are 7 wks.

In the USA carbaryl is no longer approved for chickens, so do look at your packaging to see if it's labeled for poultry or poultry housing where you live.

Carbaryl is no longer available in Canada at all. I have some that retailers were trying to get rid of.

Is there anything I can use around young birds?

'Down here' permethrin is considered safe and is approved for use in poultry housing and chickens of all ages. Of course you wouldn't saturate any bird, especially a chick!
