haha your post cracks me up !! this litter had no hairless. all white PPs I am just so glad they have all made it 8 days. I am mad at myself for not doing what I have done for every litter over the years.. I have always done day old pics with my metal ruler. I have also always logged the exact time they were born, but I didnt do that either. I didnt think any of them would make it, BUT THEY ALL DID!!!!! so far anyway...

I'm so glad your puppies are coming along!

If the canned goats milk was evaporated, yes you mix with water and I add some kind of probiotics too.Fresh goats milk is best if it can be found as the other type is heated to a point that a lot of the good stuff is killed. This is from my BFF as she has dairy goats and breeds an occasional litter of Collies. BTW a few weeks ago she had a litter born that was at least a week or more early. She said they were so tiny. Our lives go in the fast lane so much that I can't remember what she did or didn't do.

I had a peke b-tch have 2 litters born very early too.I wish I could remember how early but that was late 70's-early 80's. Anyway none of the puppies made it. The sack as I call it that they are born in was not released from their bodies. Also they had no hair.

I decided to have her spayed. As it was the vet and I was the only ppl there and he let me stay in the operating room. He showed me some cysts that were on her ovaries.Said that was probably what caused her problem.

Anyway I hope your pups keep doing well.

Congrats! That is amazing. I would have been reuluctant to take pictures also, in case they didn't make it. But we want to see plenty now as they grow!

This is truly a miracle! I know it was hard work for you, but they are beautiful! Congratulations again!
