CAROLINA CHICKENSTOCK FALL 2012

If I have any available (I am incubating eggs now), bantam Chocolate orps will be available in pairs or trios only and must be prepaid. As chocolates are on the list of colors for getting APA approval so I am breeding to a top quality American black rooster for the best type possible. Offspring are sexable at birth as all cockerels will be black split to chocolate and all pullets will be chocolate.

I also have two "cuckoo" orpingtons from my bantam cuckoo project available. They got bit bigger so they would be a great cross for anyone wanting large fowl Cuckoo Orpingtons!!! Again, I will only bring them if they are prepaid.

Please message me for more info and prices, thank you.

I may also have some lavender "bantam" orpingtons as they have also just started to lay and I am incubating those eggs as well. These would be sold as straight run chicks only.

Are the cuckoos laying?

Yes! I received your payment for the meal worms! Thank you! I will have them in a container with your name on it and ready to go to their new destination.

Wow! Only a 15 minute drive. That is so great. But what fun to be able to spend all morning there watching new people show up and buy and sell and not feel like you have to rush home.

I hope I can spend more time meeting folks from BYC. It was freezing last time so we bought and ran. LOL

Last April I was the one in shorts. Other than Matt, of course. He always wears shorts.
I had on a t-shirt and pair of shorts and was okay. The breeze was a bit much on the chicks though. I had heater packs stuck around inside the walls of the chick crate. But yeah, it was nippy. Actually felt good to me.

Since my camper top will be on my truck and covering my back glass, I will have a poster board taped to my truck with my farm name on it. That makes it easy for folks to find me and if I am talking with someone they know they are in the right place, though I also wear a shirt with my farm name on it.

Tricia or Amy,
there is someone wanting to buy a shirt and I told her to email one of you for info on it. She can't make the swap but still would love to get a shirt and have it mailed to her. She is on FB but seldom gets on here.

Amy, have her email me. I have a few of the shirts left from spring, I may already have what she is looking for, if not I will be placing the shirt reorder soon.

I am hoping to make it--although with all the cool chickens that I don't really need or have room for maybe I shouldn't! However I usually follow my heart rather than my head!!!

OMG, you have got to come if only for the great experience! Meeting lots of new people and putting names to faces from here on BYC and FB. I meet so many people and love to talk to them all. I always take home new info and enjoy myself so much at these get together.
Bring just enough money for all the nest stuff in the raffle and some goodies to buy. No chickens! LOL
