CAROLINA CHICKENSTOCK FALL 2012

Yall are so funny, please forgive me, but I'm confused, trying to follow who has what and who's sold what. I guess it's easier when you know one another. I am looking for easter egger or buff orpington hatching eggs or new chicks...can yall toss out some names or links to who you think may be bringing them? By the looks of things on the thread, I'm afraid if I dont pre-order and pay everything will already be sold by chickenstock day!

I am going to try and bring plenty of EE and Ameraucana eggs to sell but I have one dz sold already.
I have 2 pens of them, both with Ameraucana roos and a variety of hensin EE or Amerauacana. I also have a Golden Cuckoo Marans hen in the pen with the blue Ameraucana roo, Billy Bob and may add them to a dz or sell separate for Olive Eggers. Their offspring is pretty and laying green eggs but not extremely olive.
Each egg has the initials or roosters name on it to identify separate breeding pens.

I plan to bring all eggs from all breeding pens to Chickenstock. Last spring no one seemed interested and I brought home and set a lot fo eggs I took but this fall seems to be better for eggs. Don't know why.

I also will be donating a dz eggs from one of my breeding pens to the raffle. I am not sure which pen yet but I am thinking my SLW.

I am sure there will be folks there selling hatching eggs. And make sure you check out the raffle because others may be donating to it as well.

I am just wandering how much else I can put in the truck! OMG! More people!

I know I will be hauling Kimberly's ducks for her but I am not sure how many chickens we can fit into her Jeep. She is bringing quite a few of her own chickens to sell because she has too many, she says. Some people are going to luck on out some nice birds!

And I will have a table set up with Meal Worms for sale. Maybe I will donate a container of them to the raffle instead of eggs. I'm just not sure yet! LOL

It is getting so close! We will have a blast, Patsy! Make sure you wear a coat this time and have your thermos of coffee!

This will be the first ChickenStock for me and my wife. We have had the privilege of being caretakers of our flock for two years now. I am hoping to begin some hatching in the spring, but I want to be prepared before I leap into it. I am looking forward to meeting other chicken folk and coming away with lots of good ideas and advice that I can apply to our flock. We will be bringing our Poultry Picket fencing to sell. And, I know that it's not poultry related, but we will also be bringing our mobile iPhone Repair Shop. I am a Disabled Veteran, and that is what I do for a living. So be on the lookout for us.

I have pre-paid for meal worms, pre-paid for a D'Uccle, and paying for/picking up the EE Trio....so I need to decide how much extra cash to bring to spend on "goodies"...a shirt, apron, car decal. My husband is going to KILL me! LOL
