Since we're getting close I figured I'd post my wish list.

  • Two turkey poults, heritage breeds
  • Cream Legbar, hatching eggs or ~week old chicks.
  • Olive Egger, hatching eggs or ~week old chicks. (Hoping HenThymes has some in time for Chickenstock :D)
  • Delaware, hatching eggs or ~week old chicks.
  • Silver Appleyard ducklings or eggs.

Hoping having a list at Chickenstock will keep me in check like a grocery list does...

Edited to add: Not sure if anyone brings ducks to Chickenstock, but figured why not try?
I will have OE hatching eggs for you. Message me so we can get it set up and I can get your name on them, as usual I will be crazy that day!

What happens if it is raining? I guess we'll all be watching the weather for next Sat.
At this point it is a rain or shine event, too much goes into this and have no way of notifying everyone of a change date as they come from far and wide. There are hundreds of people who come and go thru this event that day.

Morning Everyone!!! I just wanted to pop in and give an update;

For those who have been confused the date is MAY 18th. We unfortunately had to move the original date due to a conflicting horse event on the grounds that same day. We are also going to start at 8, though most are already waiting at the gate by 7.

**PLEASE DON'T FORGET THIS YEAR THERE WILL BE A $5 VENDOR FEE.** We will be giving back to the horse club for allowing up to continue to use their facility for our event.

Working on t-shirts now, still now sure of spring colors but hoping to add something new as long as we can get them reaonably priced.

Concessions have not been confirmed yet but hoping to lock it down in the next week.

I will keep everyone posted with any updates.

**If you would like to donate to the raffles please let me know what you will be bringing so I can add you to the list**
For the first time since starting this I really don't have any poultry for sale.
