Try putting pet strips on pop door...

Well, I tried. And tried. And tried. But they refused to go thru the plastic strips, no matter how many were pulled out of the way! Then I had a brief moment of brilliance and put up two of the tie dyed nest box curtains and voila!

I would be very concerned about AI.

AI from Carolina Wrens would be my least concern. There is not one documented case ever. Lol

Pardon my ignorance, but what is AI in this context, please? My folks had a cow they had AI'd and got a nice calf out of the deal but somehow that can't be right here....

So did that keep the wild bird out of the coop?

Yep, so far, so good! I’ll spend some time out there again tomorrow to make sure the wrens haven’t figured out how to get thru the curtains. I also put a small, metal, corner feeder near where they like to fly into the run. I’m hoping they build there instead of inside the coop!
