Hi everyone!
Homeschooling mom, only 1 of 7 left yet to graduate. 2 kids home. Widowed 2 yrs ago. Finding myself again. Rediscovering the joys of heart and home, including gardening and maintaining a flock.

Purchased 12 chicks.
3 Orpington pullets, 3 Leghorn pullets, 2 Barred Rock pullets, 2 RI Reds straight run, 2 Welsummer straight run.

Goal is a garden filled with 3' wide raised beds, 1 permanent coop with run, and several 3' wide chicken schooners to put my girls on double duty.

I love arts&crafts, DIY, being thrifty, and have an interest in Square Ft Gardening alongside permaculture. I'm kinda lazy, so I love to do things the easiest, most sustainable way, or getting it right the first time.
