Yes they are. They will stay in the ponds and swim like that for an hour a day. Watching them is such a joy. It makes you forget all your troubles. All four of my geese were rescued from a man selling them on the side of the road for butchering, when I bought them from him he looked at me like I grew another head when I wouldn't let him dress thm out.
