**Casey Anthony Verdict In ..**

Wow! You right on, weren't you

To be perfectly honest, I was trying to soften it.

I didn't want to come out and say what I REALLY thought because I didn't feel like getting attacked for not agreeing with the majority who were SO SURE she was going to the gallows - courtesy all the wonderful coverage from Nancy Grace and her ilk - all of them sold the public down the road. All of them. They were EXTREMELY dishonest - if not dishonest, so ignorant it can hardly be believed they could dress themselves and drive a car.

But I NEVER thought they would convict of murder 1 or manslaughter. NEVER.

Not at ANY point since this case came to light.

Remember, George Anthony wasn't just a cop.

HE is an ex HOMICIDE DETECTIVE.

And if all the above list is such a GREAT BUNCH OF EVIDENCE, WHY WASN'T SHE CONVICTED OF MURDER? If it's all such grand and marvelous evidence, WHY WAS SHE NOT FOUND GUILTY?

For the same reason OJ went free. The jury chose to ignore the evidence.

I followed that case, too. I firmly believe that in the OJ trial, even if Jesus Christ himself had been on the stand testifying for the prosecution it wouldn't have made a bit of difference. That jury would have acquitted him anyway.

They did not 'choose to ignore the evidence'. The evidence simply was inadequate.

What would ANY JUROR's motivation BE for 'choosing to ignore the evidence'?

WHY would they do that? What do they get out of it?

And why would a judge allow it and risk disbarment, end of his career and public shame?

NANCY GRACE et all TOLD you the evidence was sufficient, and you fell for it, that's all.

It just wasn't.

What the prosecution needed:

Time and date of death, location of death.

Placing Casey Anthony at the scene of the death.

Placing Casey Anthony at the scene of the disposal of the body.

What proves she did it and the mother didn't do it? Or the father? Or the brother?

Who is Nancy Grace? I didn't/don't follow who ever she is but I did follow the trial closely. I thought she was guilty as sin! And yes I have served on many a jury trial.

Never listened to Nancy Grace. There have been people convicted, and justifiably so, on less evidence than was presented in this case. Like just skeletal remains or even no body at all. Never mind time, date, place and cause of death. These things are nice but they are not absolutely essential.

The evidence in this case was sufficient if the jury had been bright enough to add two and two. I saw no credible evidence presented that would exonerate Casey in the death of Caylee. If any such evidence existed it would have been presented, believe me. Also, she is the only real suspect. If someone else had killed or taken the kid, Casey would have reported Caylee missing. She didn't. And when queried by her mother and later, the police, as to Caylee's whereabouts, Casey concocted one idiotic story after another.

This is just an outrage. Me and my sister are so amazed that this women was found not guilty. SHE DID IT!!! plain and simple. I dont care that there is not enough evidence.
July 15, 2008 — George and Cindy Anthony pick up Casey’s car from a tow yard. George Anthony observes a strong odor emanating from the vehicle. Later, back at the Anthony family home, Casey tells her mother and brother, Lee Anthony, that she hasn't seen Caylee in a month and that a babysitter named Zanaida Fernandez Gonzalez (Zanny) kidnapped her.
July 15-16, 2008 — Casey Anthony takes police to the last place she says she saw Caylee. It turns out to be a vacant apartment. Authorities also take her to Universal Studios where she said she worked. She kept walking with them and then suddenly halted when she was almost at the door of what she claimed was her office. The police testified that she then suddenly stopped and stated that she really did not work there. In fact, supervisors told the police that she hadn’t worked there in more than two years.
This lady has issues. I believe that the father help her out too. he may not have helped kill her but i believe he helped bury her. He even sent out a suicide text to his family, and that right there says he feels guilt over something. She may not have gotten jail time, which is a scandal, but her life is now over. Nobody better give that girl a job or a book deal or nothing. She is a corrupt member of society.
ETA- Zanaida the nanny has never sense this family before. Why lie that she is with someone she isn't with.

There is no reason to believe any family members had anything whatever to do with Caylee's death or the disposal of the body. As for Mr. Anthony's suicide note, having the media camped out in your yard for weeks on end and the subliminal knowlege that your own daughter is in all probability a murderer is enough to send just about anyone over the edge.

Thats not really true. MANY people have been convicted for LESS evidence than was presented at this trial. Every one is innocent in jail, didnt you know that?
The jury made a bad call. Period.
I hope they can sleep at night.
Just my opinion.

The jury was sobbing when they came to the verdict.

They didn't make a bad call - they acted as they had to - per judge's instructions.
