I got some pictures of the babies while they were outside in the grass! they loved it!!

Thadeus has his first baby! Born somewhere between 11pm and 2am Sunday night.

Only problem is I had put a couple of my eggs in with them, and one of my eggs hatched during the same time period.

So, I'm not sure which is which.

The good news is another of Thadeus's babies is pipping! Hopefully it will help me decide which one is it's sibling.

I'm waiting for it to hatch and fluff out before I take pics.

The sad news is.... I think the third one is dead. It's the one that had the loose air-sac.

But, I'm thrilled that I have one and another is pipping!

Sorry about the 3rd one...I know that was an iffy one from the beginning. Thaddeus is black and so is one of his hens. Another one is pure white and of course, Dusty, the mauvy colored one. Can't wait to see which one is his

So glad you moved to this section of the forum!! Beautiful birds---they each seem to have such a proud posture and they are all just darling!!! Can't wait to see more photos!

lol I know I am VERY proud of Andre! he is going to be paired up with either Hawk (who IMO has the next best posture against Andre) or Star, My 5 month old splash Mille Fleur hen. I really cant wait to see what he looks like a year from now!! I think he's going to be my main show bird!!

MiMi - I really like that Silkied Frizzle of your's (or is it just a Frizzle?)!! either way its a very nice looking bird!!
