Cat Lover's Corner

We have a spoiled indoor cat named Missie Marie Mary Margaret Elisabeth Lacy. She is the Cat In Charge.

We also have a barn cat named Boris the Carrot. That is his IQ. I don't have a picture because he forgets who I am and runs away from me.

I only raised him from a kitten and he is 12. go figure.

great pic, and beautiful cat..

I know what you mean about your barn cat..
my Hobo isn't the brightest bulb on the tree either.

his name does fit him..he's a wanderer..and I worry when he stays out all night, especially in this cold weather..
question..
if I get him neutered, will it help keep him home?
he's about a year old..

Most definitely neutering will help keep him home. I'm getting my new kitty neutered on Thursday... only $15 at the local Spay and Neuter clinic. See pics of my new manx kitty on a thread I started in this section today.

It will help for sure! So glad you are having him fixed. Glad to see a Spay clinic. There should be more of them.

I see you have TNR kitties.. this same clinic does TNR kitties for free... its a great clinic.

TNR free, how awesome. Many kudos to the vets that take the time to make a difference.

I had a large colony of 17. In 3 bittersweet years of being a caretaker, I am down to 2 original cats.
I did tame 3, that I adopted, who are the sweetest "but still shy cats"I ever had. The others got hit by cars, or never returned. Raised many newborn kittens I took away from their feral Mom's and found great homes for them. No new kitties on the street.
TNR works.
