Catching Mice...

Well to be honest, these are crossbred with some of my fancy mice and I want to catch them and keep them.
One of my bucks got out and have been breeding with the wild does and have created some interesting looking babies.

I kept fancy mice forever and ever ago. I even had a trio of African Pygmy mice. A couple of years ago I realized DD was about the same age as I was when I first got interested and in my foolishness thought I'd google mouse breeders.
Wow, adoption contracts.

Maybe one day we'll luck across some satins in a pet store.

In most cases the offspring would just be agouti, black or something along those lines, but in this case, the buck was a burmese satin so the offspring are getting creative looking

I have a simple adoption contrct, but I know theres some crazy ones put there,lol.

I put it in an area frequented by mice and in one night I caught 4 babies and a momma, all alive and well. I used peanut butter and dry oatmeal as bait.
