I had a friend that put guy wires on hers.... extended the legs of the stand out and screwed an eyebolt on...

I've always used a fake tree. . too many allergies for a real one.
I have come home to a crashed Christmas tree so many times I've lost countits worse when it crashes in the night and scares the living Christmas out of you.
After they crashed it so many times the stand was pretty much shot. . I used duct tape to put it back together and then I bought cheap cat litter in sacks to add weight to the stand. Also give up on glass ornaments and switched to all plastic
That worked for a couple of years.
Last year the tree had been chewed on and crashed so much it just looked pathetic.
I decided to just make a pallet wood tree and I think I will use it from now on. . until my cat gets through his 9 lives![]()
