I have two gorgeous tortoise shell cats. One has torti pattern on her back (Lilli) and my cat(Tilli) has torti coloured spots on her back. Lilli is super sweet and tilli loves me and only me...she is also not-so-secretly a ninja

Sounds like your cats and a couple of mine have the same personality. Kairi, a kitten I found freezing to death in my tree only responds to me. Makes my kids so mad. But i had this kitten stuffed under my shirt for 3 days because she couldn't maintain her own body temp. I also bottle fed her for 3 weeks. After that it was kinda expected. She searches for me every night so she can sleep on my chest like my own personal heater.

One of my outside cats, named Shadowcat cause we didn't know gender at first,(she is female and spayed now) is a very good ninja. Solid black with green eyes she loves sneaking up behind me when I call her, and when I least expect it she rubs up against me! Cat nearly gave me a heart attack the first few times she did it. She doesn't purr, or make any noise when she is approaching, so you have no clue she is behind you until you feel her touch you! She also will only let me get that close to her, anyone else and she is gone, they can't get within 10 feet of Shadowcat. She was feral when we bought the house and I spent hours taming her down.

We now have a total of 25 cats

after 15 kittens were born. All kittens are going to be looking for a new home and all female cats are going to be spayed.

We are in a similar position with 13 cats since the people left the farm down the road and just abandoned them. We suspect we have kittens on the way as well! We are having our boys neutered as it is cheaper and there are no other cats around here.

Not to be rude but don't be too sure, someone thinks she has no cats around so she only neuters HER boys but she ended up having a pregnant cat, two, actually.

Agreed, it is best to have all the females spayed, and all the boys neutered.

FACT: Just one female cat and her kittens can lead to the births of 370,000 cats in seven years, and one female dog and her puppies can result in the births of 67,000 dogs in six years.
Neuter your cats! Let’s avoid more cats abandoned in the streets.

I agree. I purchased a house that had 2 cats living there and decided having mousers was good. Then discovered 2 kittens. So I set out to tame the 2 ferals. Got 1 trapped and spayed but not the other. She popped out 2 more litters of 4 kittens each before I was able to get her spayed. 4 of them were female, as we're the 2 kittens I found with her when we moved in. We kept the 4 female kittens as indoor pets and they are all also spayed. Now I am trapping the ferals living in my neighborhood and getting them spay/neutered through a cat rescue group. For every feral I see there are usually 3/4 more I don't see. I know there are 2 females, 2 males, and 1 unknown gender cats left to trap, which means there are tons more than just those.
