What is the best breed of cattle to raise?

There are many breeds and sizes of cattle. What do you want to do with them and how much space do you have?

Like with chickens, you need to know what you want them for before you decide on a breed. Do you want beef only? Milk? Both? How much space do you have?

If I had land I would get irish Dexters or Dutch Belted
