Cayuga adventures: What are they up to now?

So yesterday henny was feeling pretty confident in herself and attacked me on my bed. I thumped her off the bed with satisfaction. She has not tried to come in today. Guess she is punishing me by depriving me of her presence, lol. I have to be honest, I'm not feeling very deprived, hehehe.

So this morning as I was finishing up making their hot water & crumble mix, Daisy (my female duck) was throwing a fit. I looked over and henny (chicken) was squatting for Daffy (drake).
And Daisy was grabbing Daffy's feathers trying to pull him off her. I picked henny up and put her on the roost. Then I let them out of the door so the ducks could go out and swim.
Now I'm worried henny is gonna get herself killed. Ugh

Oh wow never had any of my chickens squat for my ducks[drakes] but they sure would for my geese when I had the 4 geese they would surround her and I don't know if it was out of shear terror she squatted but she would so I rehomed the 2 youngest geese and kept my 2 old ones no problems since. Keep an eye on things.

Thanks Miss Lydia. Tomorrow I'm gonna get out the chicken wire and split the coop and run into two sections.

Very good idea some of my hens squat for me so you just never know.

All mine like to squat. I'm constantly trying not to trip over them. I think I might just put a sign over the coop that says studio 54, lol.

I have 3 roos but these SF are too large for my tiny OEGB although they do try their best. It's like ride em cowboy when the boys jump on.
