Cayuga and Magpie, will they pair up?

So I have a female Cayuga and a male Magpie duck. The magpie is half the size of the Cayuga if not smaller. So far he hasn't shown any interest in the female. Will they not pair up because of size difference? They were both hatched about june/julyish of 2016.

Ducks are not picky ....... Are you sure the one is a Drake?

He has a very distinct tail feather curl and he doesnt really quack. But they dont seem too interested in each other.

Your not with them 24 hours a day...Try taking her away and I bet he will show how interested he really is........Silly Ducks...
