OK thats an ugly duckling ..., Would have loved a white/cayuga cross ... scrolling to see what it turns out like
I have a drake cayuga, I also have 4 fawn and white deer runners with 2 deer runner and I'm not sure of the mix but all were saved from the flea market where I live to a happy home.. I'm so curious to what a cayuga and fawn deer runner looks likeI have been hatching my runner duck eggs, all have been purebred Fawn and White to Fawn and White until I found a Cayuga drake. I was not sure that he had mated with my runner until I hatched a dark colored duckling with black feet. I am now aware that he is mature and now I don’t know what to do with any additional eggs that are incubating already if they are mixed. Do people still want mixed ducks?
They're are so beautiful! What is their character like or is it too early to tellView attachment 1381222 View attachment 1381224 View attachment 1381221 Taken under protest but I got some.

The last picture is of the ducklings that hatched last week. They're appleyard x Cayuga x runner and Cayuga x runner. The duck was sitting on hers and the other ducks.
I think that's so precious! 2 standing like deer runners and the others like cayugas! I hope you'll post pictures as they get older2 stand like runners, 2 seem to be like cayugas. They're only a couple days old. This is them outside for the first time yesterday.

Will you sell them and is it to early to tell if any are drakes?I would love some
that’s funny because I inherited a Cayuga hen who had been fertilized previously by a fawn and white runner Drake, I took some of her eggs, put them under a broody chicken and here is my very handsome young Drake who has a Cayuga mommy and a fawn white runner dadI have been hatching my runner duck eggs, all have been purebred Fawn and White to Fawn and White until I found a Cayuga drake.
