Cayuga Duckling Quacks

Hmmm?..Get voice but not mature until a year..At 4 months they get a juvenile molt and develop a Drake curl and can begin to breed but not always fertile..

If you were saying they’d be fully grown in a year then that’s wrong too as domesticated ducks are usually fully grown at 14 weeks, I’ll just take it that you were talking about mallards there

Anyone have video of a young cayuga male vs female quack? Mine are 5 weeks old now and very quiet overall, so I'm wondering if I got three fellas. Which would mean I'd have to start finding homes for two of them and a lady friend for the one i kept.
Can you make a video? Pick each one of them up and giggle it a little bit and tilt it backwards. Normally my males won’t make a peep when I do this. The girls let me know they don’t appreciate it.

They fill out and are fully mature at one year old...As a general rule It's after eclipse that a Drake is a fully Mature Drake..

I guess we can agree to disagree on that one, i know for sure mallards take a year but I have been told by breeders that I buy from that domesticated ducks mature a lot earlier :caf

I’ve had 10 month old ducks sit on eggs before, the father was the same age....when something, someone is able to reproduce and is at full size it is fully mature in my opinion, there are many threads out there that say the same as me.

Can you post a video of them making noise? To post a video upload to youtube or vimeo, then copy/paste the link here.
