Celtic Thunder!!

Fantastic,

Thank you for posting the link. I love the Celtic sounds, I will be keeping an eye out for them in future.

The Scots Irish do have a way of pulling at the heart strings don't they.

I listened to a few of their songs ther and I will be searching for more, thank you.

Hi Roxy,

lol... I have no chance at all, I am of Scots/Irish descent and I live in the Land of Song ( Wales) lol.... emotional wreck. But music is an international language that speaks to the soul.

These guys are good, and the range in their individual voices is really superb.

Look forward to hearing more.... maybe I can keep a grip...lol.

I think that this group really has a chance to be something great! It is very well thought out and they have WONDERFUL voices, and to top it off they all are pretty cute too!

They are also sooo great to their fans, when they first got the group together they started a website and a forum where they interact with their fans. They really take the time to get to know the ones that support them.

AND Don't get me started on the kilts.......

They are pretty awesome. My daughter and her friend were preparing to leave the concert hall and were telling her friend's mom (who had driven them to Grand Rapids) about how wonderful the show was. Sarah commented that she only wished they could have met the guys. A lady walking past her turned around and said, "Would you girls like to meet them?" They about fell over! The lady was the manager of Celtic Thunder. She took them back stage where there were a handful of people. The guys took a long time, made sure they had all the pictures they wanted, signed cd.s, signed my daughter's leg brace, etc. They couldn't have been kinder to them! Sarah said as good as you think they are, the concert was even better.

Thank you Catray44,

I will be doing just that now... lol.... see the irish lilt. lol...

thank you.

I will be checking out their website too. My son is a musician, and is doing a tour in February with a big time guitarist, so we are always into music somewhere around the house, and tastes are so broad.

I go from Areosmith in the morning when I am trying to get all the work done, world music and Indian Lovesongs by dinner time and finally down to Enya and Celtic chillout or classical music through the evening.

I am so pleased that my children have a broad range of music genres that they listen to. They grew up hearing family stories of the family members who came to the states from Ireland and Switzerland, the sacrifices and hardships they endured... They love celtic music (as well as country, Rat Pac, and Indie, etc.) There is a band that started out in Detroit called Blackthorn. The lead singer, Richard is from Belfast. They are teachers by day in the Detroit area. If you like Celtic music, check them out...

Thank you Thank you.... that is brilliant.

Good to know that this music is thriving and drawing new fans.

they are really good, I can see I am going to buying lots more CDs.
