Oh Boy.... I sure wish I could come! It just isn't in the cards for me this time. I have the Inverness show this weekend, then on Tues the25th we will be going out of state, things are getting very hectic here. Are you going to have another swap in the hopefully not too distant future? It sounds like you are going to have a bunch of people and a great time!

By the way, one of my old hens died last night (just old age I think...she wasn't sick). When I told DH he said "It's ok honey, that just means you have room for another chicken."

Like it would have stopped me...

If anyone has a Button Quail with the coloring of the one on the bottom left of this pic I WANT IT!! This one was my favorite and of course it's the one that escaped, ran under the door, and got killed by my cat. In case you can't see him well he was black w/ brown spots and when he started feathering out, his feathers were black w/ brown edges. PLEASE tell me someone has one like him!

Kelley...sorry about your hen.

We lost a big, beautiful light brahma hen yesterday too. She was in her coop with the other girls. Looks like she flew into a post and broke her neck. I have another "old lady" that is getting slower and slower. We'll proably lose her this winter. I noticed her comb is getting pale.

Ok, looks like all my extra silkies and showgirls are sold, so we won't be bringing anything with us... BUT...

Does anyone have any silkies or showgirls they will be selling? And if so, what colors? Email me if you have pics!

I also need the address to mapquest how in the heck to get to the meet.
