LOL--Yeah I am still hoping my sis-n-law keeps both my youngins!

But we shall see...

They may be one is solid blue & one is blue & white. They are gorgeous but I just was expecting something else ya know. But that is okay. Yeah my ducks actually sleep on the pond. They dont stay up on the bank. But you sound like me duck happy!LOL I had like 20 Calls out in the yard but I had to sell some of them off because they were just to loud. 1 pair isnt bad but 20 of them-- AAAHHHHHGGGG it was awful! But the wood & mandrian ducks are cool they whistle! I love them they are so quite!

Ok, we won't be bringing anything. BUT, we will be looking for Silkies, Showgirls, and Sizzles.

We too, maybe could use a small plastic cat carrier, if anyone is selling them. The one I have for my actual cat is cloth--which won't be too god for the chickens!

I want to come, and if we make it I'll be bringing my EE roo that was supposed to be a hen along. I'd really like for him to have a home, one where he won't get eaten... but all things being equal, he just can't live here in residential Tampa.

I'm really, really leaning towards coming home with two of the KWIs, but... the chickens are really supposed to be laying- without the excuse of the eggs, I've got no excuse at all to have them.
If I bring home two key west pullets, will I be able to explain their appearance in our little yard at some point by an omelette?

Or are all the KWIs spoken for already?

perstephone...just explain that they are "POL" or point-of-lay pullets. I'm sure you wouldn't be questioned. Beside, many hens don't lay in the winter
