2 cages and 1 coop finished with 20 mins to spare and loaded last night.... 1 set of birds caught, waiting an hour and going to catch the other 30 babies. then off to ocala. glad to see faces i havent' seen in a long time. cant wait.

Good Morning all you happy campers!!! Slept like a baby. Went to bed about 9pm last night, woke this morning feeling rested and awake. Morning coffee, read the paper, walked the dogs, sat down to a nice country breakfast of freshly laid eggs, homemade bisquits and sweet honey straight from the hive. Going to watch the sun rise.
OH who am I trying to kid??? Just dragged my butt out of bed, I think I got a nap in. Off to wrangle chickens and finish setting up. Am I even awake????

We want to thank all who came out to the swap today. It was a good turnout but there was a lot of roosters for sale this time. But the weather was nice and it was really nice to get a chance to talk with everyong along with meeting some new people.

its always a fine time comin out to the pampered pullet farm... thanks eric and le... we had a good time... our roos didnt sell but they are now on ice here at the house...

Big thanks to Eric and Leisa for hosting the swap/sale!!! Had a great time meeting new peeps and talkin chickens with my familiar peeps!!! Picked up some needed supplies at great prices and had alot of people leave as new silkie owners!! For those of you that missed Eric's costume, it was priceless when I pulled up and a giant chicken came out to greet me!!! Leisa, you were gracious as always..

See all my peeps down the road!! Have 95 silkie eggs ready to go to the hatcher next Friday, so probably won't make the next swap...but will see ya'll soon!!
