So my ducks run anywhere from 5.00 for a duckling to 35.00 my wood ducks & Mandrians are on the higher side of course because they are on the exotic side & they also costed a small fortune to get. I wont sale adults on the Woods & Mandrians.

tailsnfeathers-It's easier to give a bath to a Silkie than a puppy! I just gently lower them down in the water with one hand on their breast and the other on their saddle and let them get used to being in the water then I take a little cup and gently start pouring water over them(Not on their heads). If they get scared, I take my hand that is on the breast and grasp all the way around the wings. If I am getting ready for a show, in the 3rd rinse, I put a few glycerin drops. Makes them shiny!! Wrap them up in a chicken burrito. The fun part is the blow drying!!!!I alternate from warm to cool. They are so beautiful when they are dry!!!!!!!

My husband is getting into the next swap too!!!!!! He'll have RIR about 7 months old(laying) for $15.00 each. One Rooster & 7 hens. He will also have Easter Egger chicks $7.00 & Australorp chicks for $7.00 each.

I would say they are PQ because they are my yard ducks & they are like 3 years old. I sell the babies when I have them but I dont really do to much w/those. Those are my 5.00 ducks.

But I can take pics of the pair & you can see. My hubby would prob be happy for me to sell the pair off. I have had those longer than I have had anything in my yard now. I had fainting goats that I had for a little longer but I just sold them a week or so ago!

But my ducks are the easiest things in my yard to catch. Even my Wood ducks & Mandrains are easier to catch then that Samatra.

My husband is a duck catchin fool!

They love him so I normally let him catch them. He caught almost everyone of the Call ducks in my yard & I had almost 40-50 of those. He is good w/those.

Just so you all know...

Apparently some people are getting together w/ the media in FL to try and change the laws and stuff in Orlando concerning chickens. The person putting it together PMed me and asked if we could combine it with the swap. I told her she was welcome to advertise it here but that I do NOT want the media anywhere near my house! Plus it would just take away from the fun of things. However, if anyone wants to join the "cause" there's a thread on here somewhere about it. Just wanted to let you all know!

Yes thank you KellyHM and hello everyone,

Actually I was thinking to maybe combine these great causes since I didnt know it was actually going to take place in someones home but myself and allot of people in Orlando actually are part in this cause on changing poultry laws in Orlando since poultry isnt allowed in residential areas/homes(can you believe that!) compared to the many owning poultry in cities all around the U.S

Well there are allot of people in this cause and we are wanting to already come up with the proposition on how the laws should be changed since we already got a reply from the manager of Zoning divisions and told us how we should now propose the law to the mayor and board of commissioners(these guys have been emailed by soo many people already) to have these laws changed. So now what we are wanting to do is to try to meet up all for the great cause and even call out the press, Orlando Sentinel's editors, and TV news reporters. Anything to show the great community of poultry owners here in Orlando, FL.

Well like i said i really didnt think it was going to take place in a home i thought it was going to take place in a park or somewhat but it would be great if you guys could also bring your support, to this great cause even if it would be a sepperate date and even to bring your chickens to show the press how we love our poultry!
