I have 20 silkie eggs in the bator as we speak. Should hatch on the 30th so I might have some for the swap.

If all goes well, I should have black, blue, splash, white, and buff...woohoo...of course I am gonna keep some...

I must resist the Cochins this time.... that being said, is anyone bringing any... Bawhahahaha.

Well if you are talkin about the meeting for law changes affecting our chickens then I am all for it!
I would also be interested in attending and selling or swapping some chicks ( Im gonna have some cochins very soon) but I know law changes for our chickens are much more important.
Chicken7 what is the date for that meeting? How many people will attend?

Ok, couple of things:

1-Ok, hubby has approved the swap at our house for Feb. 21st if you are all game. I am on the VERY Westside of Jacksonville, right off of I-10.

I have a grill, if you guys want to all bring food.

We have 5 acres, and our front yard is solid for pulling in and setting up tables, etc.

2-I'm working on a story for the Florida Times Union about owning chickens and how it's becoming popular again. It will run as soon as I get off my butt and finish it. Don't know if that will help you Orlando people any.
